My Story

Once upon a time, life happened to me and my body's response was to shed my hair! I had bald patches at the most inconvenient spots on my scalp and thin edges! I most certainly know from personal experience how devastating it can be for anyone to lose their hair! Whether you lost your hair from frequently tying your hair too tight, had a baby or became a Dad, entered into menopause, started puberty, went through a stressful situation or even for medical reasons, my prayer is that life should happen without you losing your mane!

I am a Family Physician and an Obesity Medicine and Nutrition Specialist with a good knowledge of which oils and herbs contain the vitamins and elements the body needs to support and retain healthy hair growth. I used this knowledge to formulate hair butters and oils exclusively from ingredients on my kitchen shelf and herb garden. My goal was to heal my scalp and to stimulate healthy new hair growth. My hair grew back within a few weeks of consistent use of my formula in addition to a healthy diet and now I choose to share this formula with you.

My products have hair growing properties and reduce hair shedding. Dr. Mum's hair oil and butters stimulate and activate hair follicles and accelerate hair growth. All products possess anti- inflammatory properties which are beneficial for dry, inflamed or itchy scalp. Dr. Mum’s moisturizes and thickens the hair and helps to retain new growth which enhances hair length. All products are hand made. I use only organic, raw, and unprocessed butters and oils with no preservative added. I can't guarantee the taste so please don't eat any products!
